Harry is the owner that rebranded the business as Gower Smash Repairs in 2022 and has been our leading spray painter here since 2017, having taken over the business from Tony Bower who established Bower Smash Repairs in 1980. Harry previously worked with BUSA Smash Repairs for over nine years and brings a wealth of knowledge on vehicle repairs, spray painting and friendly customer service.

James is one of the originals at Gower Smash Repairs (previously Bower Smash Repairs) and the son of Tony Bower, having worked with the company for over 21 years. James oversees the efficient running of the office management, bookings within the workshop, parts interpreter and our expert insurance and broker liaison. James always says to his customers that a clean and well-maintained vehicle will hold its value longer.

Kaden is Gower Smash Repairs (previously Bower Smash Repairs) Apprentice spray painter (1st year) prior to working with Gower Smash Repairs on his trade, Kaden was at school. Another 4x4 off road enthusiast, loves working on cars and learning from his experienced team of trades.

Toby joins the team at Gower Smash Repairs as our experienced detailer and storeman. Bringing a high volume of experience in the building industry, Toby comes with a plethora of qualifications in safety, white card, working at heights, rescue at heights, LR forklift ticket holders and experienced in warehousing and logistics. Toby really loves working with the entire Bower Smash Repairs team, everyone here are great people and incredibly welcoming.

Bryce brings over 12 years of experience to automotive spray painting at Gower Smash Repairs and holds an auto body painting qualification. Bryce really enjoys the satisfaction of laying down a nice flat paint job. An avid mountain biker and an interest in customising cars in his spare time, Bryce always ensure customers get the most out of their new paint and is often seen informing clients about the tips to keep your new paint job in the best condition.

Joshua is our experienced Panel Beater and started working with Gower Smash Repairs right after our rebrand in 2021. Joshua has a certification in soil testing, but his passion is working on automotive vehicles and repairs. Bryce loves seeing the end results of a vehicle repair and the happy smile on customers faces when they pick up their repaired vehicle. Often having a laugh when customers say, “I hope I don’t have to see you again”, but we always say, if you do come back, you’ll know you’re in good hands.

Bradley, also known as BJ by the Gower Smash team, brings over 26 years’ experience in the automotive body repairs industry. BJ enjoys the work carried out by our team and the quality products we work with. Gower Smash Repairs is proud to offer our clientele the latest technology and specialised industry training techniques when we’re repairing your vehicle.

Shellie originally started working at Bower Smash Repairs in the year 2006 and is a valued member of our team. Since our re-brand in 2021, Shellie has remained an integral member of our team at Gower Smash Repairs. We’re a close-knit group, we love to have a laugh and brighten the day for everyone as no-one really wants to visit a panel shop on purpose and we aim to make the repair process as painless as possible for our valued customers and seeing big smiles after vehicle repairs.

Gower Smash Repairs is proud to have our newest school based Apprentice Panel Beater start with us in 2024. Keshab takes great pride at Gower Smash Repairs working 2 days a week, whilst completing his year 12 studies to advance his career opportunities earlier by getting a trade qualification. Keshab previously tried a school based trade in mechanical and enjoyed the work and wanted to learn more about vehicle repairs.
